🔸What is Gold filled?
In the process of Gold filled, multiple layers of Gold are bonded with very high heat and pressure onto a base metal, so it is 100 times more gold than gold plating. That's equaling 5% of pure Gold.

Gold Filled jewelry is much more valuable and durable than Gold plated or electroplated.
Gold plating can rub off very easily and tarnish quickly (especially in a humid area) when Gold filled jewelry can last for years and withstands more daily wear and tear.

For that reason, Gold Filled  jewelry is a little more expensive than Gold plated.
it's more affordable and the best alternative to solid Gold.

🔸What is Gold Vermeil?
Gold Vermeil is usually a 18k or 24k layer of Gold applied on Sterling Silver, so It is made with two precious metals.
it is very common nowadays to find 18k or 24k Gold over sterling silver which will appear shinier.
Like Gold fill, Gold Vermeil is a more valuable and durable process than Gold plated and will last for years.
